Casual Car Rental's Renters Guide
Is the price quoted an estimate or the actual price I will pay?
For rentals commencing outside the United States the price quoted will be the actual
price you will pay for the rental in U.S. Dollars. The inclusions of the plan selected
will be included in that price. All other auxiliary items I.E Car Seats, Additional
Drivers and etc…. will be paid at time of rental and subject to local taxes. For
Rentals commencing inside the United States the price quoted will be the actual
price. The inclusions of the plan will be included in that price. . All other auxiliary
items I.E Car Seats, Additional Drivers and etc. will be paid at time of rental
and subject to local taxes
Are the rates Guaranteed in U.S. Dollars
Yes. The rate quoted will be guaranteed in USD. The auxiliary items purchased at
time of rental are subject to the exchange rate on that given day.
Can I request/reserve a specific make and or model?
Yes. We at casual can request a certain make and or model however the supplier cannot
guarantee there will be one available at the particular time you will be arriving.
We however will request the vehicle asked for.
Are the cars new model cars?
Yes the cars used by our suppliers are all new model vehicles.
Who will actually provide the rental vehicle?
At Casual we carefully select vendors that will provide the best service to our
customers. We use quality vendors such as Alamo, Avis ,Budget, Citer, Maggiorie
and so on.
Please explain CDW, PAI, TPI, VAT, VLF
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is an option that, eliminates responsibility for damage
to or loss of rental vehicle as long as terms of the rental agreement have not been
violated.
Personal Accident Insurance PAI covers the authorized driver and passengers in the
rental vehicle for death, disability and medical expenses.
Extended Protection (EP)
If already included in the reserved rate or purchased at the counter, Extended Protection
(EP) provides up to an aggregate single limit of:

$1,000,000 third-party liability

$100,000 uninsured or underinsured motorist (um/ump) protection.

$100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident.
- $20,000 per person/$40,000 per accident/$15,000 property damage per
accident.
VAT or Value Added Tax is another term for Taxes.
How are charges calculated and what is the "24 hour clock"?
Charges are calculated based on the length of rental. A rental day is considered
a 24 hour day versus a calendar day. A weekly rate could be from 5-7 days and a
daily rate is usually 1-4 days. Certain locations have minimum and maximum stay
restrictions please see individual location information for details
Who can rent a vehicle?
You must have a valid driver's license and credit card to rent a vehicle. You must
be 21 years of age. You may be subject to a drivers license check. Certain locations
have a min max age restriction.
Will I need a credit card in my name to rent a car?
Yes although there are certain locations that will accept cash rentals
What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle? 21
Is there a maximum age? In certain countries there
is a maximum age for a renter. Please check the policy for the individual country
you are renting in.
What about gasoline charges?
Certain plans have a full tank of fuel included in them. If you do not prepay for
gas please return it at the level in which it was received.
Can I have additional drivers?
Yes. Additional drivers may be subject to the same restrictions as the renter. Some
plans include additional drivers. A fee may be accessed if it is not included in
the plan selected
Will I be able to modify/change my reservation?
Yes. Certain vehicle Types will have restrictions. Please see the rules of each
country
Can I drive across National Borders?
Yes. However certain vehicles have cross border restrictions. Please see rules and
regulations of the renting city
Can I drive to Eastern European Counties?
Yes. However certain vehicles have cross border restrictions. Please see rules and
regulations of the renting city
Are specialty vehicles, like convertibles and vans available?
Yes. Please see list of vehicles available for your pick-up city
Are there any mileage restrictions?
All rates are unlimited mileage.
Can I use my current drivers License?
Yes as long as the current drivers license is valid. Certain suppliers may run a
drivers license check.
What about Airport Fees?
Certain airports have a % fee for renting a car there. Most of the inclusive plans
include the airport fee. Please check the inclusions of the plan you have selected.
Why do I need to advise you of the airline name, flight number and arrival time?
If you advise us of the flight info we can pass it on to the supplier so they can
check the status of the flight and make necessary arrangements to ensure someone
is there for you.
When I arrive at the airport, how will I collect the rental car?
Certain locations have a station in terminal and you proceed there. Your
voucher will tell you where to proceed to get the vehicle.
Are there drop charges if I do not return the vehicle to the renting location?
Dropping it in the same country/state as renting usually allows for no drop charge.

What should I do if I have an accident?
Please notify the car rental company and try and get a police report.
